Summer School Courses for Heliophysics by Domain
Heliophysics is often divided into domains - solar, interplanetary solar wind, magnetosphere, and thermosphere/ionosphere - because of academic specialization. This topic is similarly divided, but it should be emphasized that the domains are all connected and similar physical processes act in all the domains.
Heliophysics Systems Overview
An overview of the Sun-Earth System with connections between different domains.
Solar
The solar dynamo drives create structures in the photosphere and solar atmosphere that vary on short and long times scales.
Solar Wind
The solar wind connects solar activity to the planets.
Magnetospheres
Formation, structure, and dynamics of Earth and planetary magnetospheres.
Ionosphere
The structure and dynamics of the ionosphere and thermosphere (the upper most layer of the atmosphere).
