Research interests
Mechanisms of solar activity, solar flares, dynamo, helioseismology, solar observations from space and ground-based observatories, data analysis, stellar astrophysics, numerical simulations and modeling.
Candidate's preferred background
Strong background in imaging spectroscopy and spectro-polarimetry, modeling interaction of high-energy particles with the solar atmosphere, and plasma physics. Experience in studying the energetics, dynamics and helioseismic response of solar flares is essential.
