2021 Heliophysics Summer School Schedule

14-25 June 2021

UCAR is committed to providing high quality programs throughout the pandemic while keeping our staff and participants safe. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the 2021 Heliophysics Summer School will be held in a virtual format. That said, UCAR staff and Summer School Faculty are committed providing the Heliophysics Summer School participants with a rich experience that fulfills the summer schools' goals:

  • Broadening participants content knowledge
  • Providing participants with a rich professional development experience
  • Building community and providing networking opportunities for participants

We will build on the successful approach used for the 2020 virtual summer school that achieved these goals. In order to minimize video conference fatigue, the daily sessions will run for approximately 4 1/2 hours each day. To accommodate maximum participation across multiple time zones the sessions will start at 9:00am (MT-US).
